We had our wedding in Vegas.  A REAL wedding with the long, white dress and bridesmaids and groomsmen and a flower girl. Reception was at a hotel with a DJ and dancing and buffet.  Whole thing cost $5000 and that included our hotel and airfare.  Best time EVER. GREAT food.  Awesome cake from the best bakery in Vegas.  Beautiful chapel.

Tracey,

Go to Southfork Ranch.  They do it all.  We severed Steaks and Chicken for those that didnt eat beed and all the works.  Cakes, flowers and DJ and open bar,  they did all the work we showed up with our clothes.  We had 5 bridesmaids and groomsmen. There were 80 people there and it was close to $6000.  All we had to do was show up.  Had the wedding close to the pool where Bobby and Pam got married.  Longhorns in the background.

morning everyone,

think it's still morning. Who even knows anymore.  Will not get into the work nightmare. It's just not worth it.

Had a challenging beyond challenging work day and evening yesterday. Emm called Mom to tell her that we wanted to come visit, since we might not get back down there before November.  Emm loves to work her big projects for school down there and Mom and Dad love to help.  So we will head down right after work/school.

Mom gave me double distressing news.  She got a call yesterday morning that her long time friend that she taught school with back in the 60's and 70's died after a long long battle with cancer.  Such a wonderful lady. They will have a celebration of her life sometime in the Spring.  Mom said she had just written her a card and thanked her for her friendship and love and her husband had just read it to her the night before she died.  (Goosebumps).

Not 30 minutes later, my Dad got a call that his college roommate, best man and Mom's high school boyfriend died of complications from pneumonia.  He lives here in New Braunfels.  Seems about 10 days ago he had strep, then pneumonia and then it was so bad he was in the hospital for days where he died yesterday morning.  Another great man who made a profound positive impact on so many people.

So it was a sad day all around.  Just makes you realize that the good ones are leaving us and we have to be grateful for the time we have with our family.

Okay, enough of that. Prayers for all in need.

Liz - I miss ya and I love ya and you just be you.

Debbie T - I never thanked you for being there to 'catch me' the other day at the conference.  You and Terry talked me thru it and you know that 'get over it' is much easier said than done.

To all those others that I just can't think of right now. Miss you all tremendously. It is definitely a post party let down week, but there will be others to look forward to hopefully soon.

Mornin' all! Haven't been on the train much lately. I need to get back here with my chosen family! I miss you guys a lot, never get to see anyone since we moved to Aggieland.

Not a lot going on  here. Getting ready for oldest daughter's Baby Shower next week. Mr. Charles Michael Krotz III will arrive the first week in November. That makes 4 grandsons and 1 granddaughter for us.

No big plans for the weekend here other than maybe going fishing for a bit tomorrow!

Hugz!

GOOD MORNING! I've been up and working since 6:30am- just in my recliner, with the laptop and a keyboard in my lap. I really could get used to this! lol. Too bad I have to actually go back in Monday. I'm keeping super busy-my assistant was out all week with the flu which means nothing got done for either one of us. So I'm busy churning out purchase orders that should have been done days ago.

Don't know what's for lunch-we're out of bread. EEK. I've been on a sandwich kick lately. Can't go to the store-can't drive. Oh well, I'll find something I'm sure!!!

Yesterday I overdid it, and I paid for it in pain. Today I'm pacing myself. The laundry is done for now and everything else can wait. I coached Chris while he vaccumed the living room floor-he did a great job. He's a good kiddo.

Hope everyone has a great day today!!
